Life is easy people just make it hard. Find a goal or dream. Find out the steps to get there. Start completing the tasks and work on it a bit daily. Don't be lazy and give your best. Success will never fail to seek you out and reward you for it. Doubt fear laziness and a lack of effort is the only reason people fail. Otherwise life is easy. That and most people never actually learn how to learn research and don't have the experience and confidence from broken homesandfailto know this. If you aren't living your dream nothing is stopping you but yourself. Everything else is a illusion in your mind and excuses.

I try to study up on what I'm interested in and it helps with planning my next step. I feel it's easier to accomplish a major goal is by setting small goals that eventually add up to that large goal. It takes a lot of research and patience.

Four years of research and studying. Nearly a year of training and continuing qualifications. And now I am in a career that embodies some of the things I admire most about this planet and the world it is made of.

My dad verbally abused me until I had an overwhelming need to prove him wrong and then I got a lucky break and went all-in in at the right time and the rest is history. Put that in a TED Talk! It was either that or all the subliminal messages from those stupid plaques my mom had on the wall when I was growing up as a kid. "Work hard laugh often love everyone". It was one or the other. Tough to settle on one.

Honestly, I think I just worked hard and didn't give up. Certainly I was helped by good people. But there were no shortage of obstacles and somehow they've all been navigated. My advice to others who want to start up a business is just to get on with it.

I adore what I do. I find it's easy to be successful in a career you are passionate about. It's easy to get a job and go through the motions but finding work that makes you feel lucky to be there everyday is rare.

I started programming PCs at 14 and get paid to write programs through high school. My teachers told me I have to go to University to be a programmer. University requires the first 2 years in mandatory English, Arts, History and at the time only offers Mainframe programming. I asked my self: Why do I need to go to University in order to do what I am already doing and be taught by teachers with less experience than me? I started teaching PC programming at a vocational school at 19.

I'm an entrepreneur by trade. I've always has a sense of achieving goals and being challenged. After I was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps, I started a few companies and moved around until I finally settled in the DC area. Failure in my businesses was inevitable. It took having to struggle and learn from my mistakes before I became successful.

I have my own business that is slowly building up. It's making nappy cakes and no one stops having babies so I should be very successful in it. I started it before I fell pregnant with my daughter so I have a deep love for my business and it will keep me busy while my little one is at school.

I continue my education one semester at a time. Current struggling college student. I work full time. I am a successful official. Ask me my occupation. I do strive to work hard in my life. This chapter in my life though. I want a little extra love and for me to be supported and not struggling.
